Hinton Ampner National trust Gardens are situated 3½ miles south of Alresford on the A272. Follow signs for Cheriton out of Alresford and turn left when you reach the A272 the other side of the village.. The Gardens are about a further half a mile on the right.
The Gardens comprise 12 acres of formal shrub garden set in a park of some 200 acres and is open Saturday - Wednesday from April to September.
